I believe that the system of the family is integral in change for individuals who are struggling with mental health or chemical health concerns. With a decade of experience working with high risk and high acuity teens, I find increased benefit when able to meet with parents and provide psychoeducation on parenting strategies at home to help solidify new skills and changes, as well as general support around the difficulty of parenting a child with mental health or chemical health concerns. Parenting Support/Family therapy can be done both in person at my office in Maple Grove, MN or through telehealth.
