Chemical Health/Rule 25 Assessment
Chemical health assessments will serve to develop an understanding of what
your or your child's presenting problems with substance use may be and to develop specific change goals for therapy or treatment. It also helps to help to identify what the best course of help may be for you, ranging from weekly therapy sessions up to attendance in a treatment program. Chemical assessments are frequently required in cases such as school suspensions, DWI’s, drug possession, divorce proceedings, and public intoxication. A Hennepin County Rule 25 assessment is the most common form used to complete this assessment and can also be used to help identify whether or not public resources may be able to help pay for the cost of treatment if insurance is not an option. Chemical Health assessments include a one hour assessment, contact with a collateral, and a follow up consult to go over the results. Chemical Assessments can be done in person at my office in Maple Grove,MN or through telehealth.
